So lets ask what happens if Pelosi defunds the Supreme Court and Federal court systems?

these govt entities need to have money appropriated to pay themselves, staff as well as keeping the lights on in theFederal court buildings. You know there are ways to end run almost anything.

When we are in war of survival, all options must be considered.

You heard this idea first right here and now

I am open to listening to ANY and EVERY possibility. Thank you for your suggestion!

Personally, I can't give an intelligent response to your suggestion because this particular option isn't in my wheelhouse but I love where you're goin'....you're thinkin'.....we ALL need to be thinkin!

So same as when the government has run out of funds. If your department/position is considered essential you would be ordered to work with out pay. When funds return, you would receive back pay. If as an essential employee you refused to work with out pay, you would lose your job.

Retired fed who was considered essential. I speak from experience.

To say it another way, nothing would change, except people would not receive there pay until funds were returned.

Many courts have been operating remotely during the pandemic, SCOTUS included.

People depend on a functioning govt. Democrats won’t destroy our institutions over this. It would have no effect on the selection of the next justice anyway.

However, the continuing resolution on the budget is due on September 30, and the entire govt. shuts down if that doesn’t get passed.
