Is there any legal / court / parliamentary process to delay or otherwise throw a wrench into the works to delay a nomination from moving forward?

(3,333 posts)Procedurally, the Dems can impeach Trump again or Barr and, evidently, the orders of impeachment would take precedence over the vote for the Supreme Court justice. This would gum up the works considerably.

Nope. That's just one fantasy among many that we will hear in the coming weeks. Impeachment would only "take precedence" if the Senate decided to let it.

(17,536 posts)any of them is willing to do the right thing, then, right before the vote, all of the Democrats should walk out in protest so that the optics of the Republican dirty deed is there for history to record.
