Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) is an outgoing Senator but he is firmly supporting President Donald Trumps nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court.
In a statement released Sunday, Alexander claimed that the so-called McConnell Rule doesnt count because the Senate and the White House is ruled by Republicans. The McConnell Rule was never a rule until McConnell decided he didnt want former President Barack Obama to nominate another justice when conservative Justice Antonin Scalia died suddenly.
Senator McConnell is only doing what Democrat leaders have said they would do if the shoe were on the other foot, said Alexander.
He was never seen as a possible vote against McConnell, as a conservative.

Say asshole, never heard or read of the Democrats not ever taking a supreme court nominee and just not giving that individual or the president a vote on the Article II requirement for his nominee.
Can you fucking tell us when a Democratic majority did that asshole......you know when the shoe was on the other foot.....do you have selective memory?

And as to the others who say "not before the election"...well, we know they mean "we'll do it in Lame Duck season".
None of them can be trusted. None. Zero integrity, zero morals. That is todays' Republican party.
