I almost never see Left-Leaning people doing this (forcing their political beliefs on you).
They'll do it on the Facebook page for their business.
They'll do it while they are speaking to you face-to-face or on the phone.
They'll have Trump stickers on their business vehicles.
I can't count the number of contractors or other businesses that have lost me as either a potential or ongoing customer because of this shit.
It usually happens in the early part of an initial conversation with them as well.
They are usually pretty bold about it.
I always think..."Yeah, I'm going to hire some fucker to replace my roof who is in love with Trump and believes in Qanon or whatever they are called. I mean, why wouldn't I, you fucking dumbass"?

(33,511 posts)There's an asshole around here who farms Christmas trees - Christmas trees! - with a huge Trump sign in front of his driveway.
It helps me to exercise my middle finger, my childish but satisfying response.

(6,390 posts)They go into business for themselves, but get pissed when they have to pay taxes, state and city fees, have to deal with inspectors, tied up doing paperwork after they get home supervising a job (which always befuddles me, running your own business is not a 40 hour work week...never has been), etc.
So they listen to Rush on the way to the job site, get angrier and blame democrats for the fact they left the house at 6 am and don't come back until 6 pm. Then spend a couple of hours doing some paper work and catch up on the weekends. Oh and don't seem to be living it up as they dreamed, crew does all the work, they kick back in the office and collect the profits.
Eventually it goes critical mass and they start openly showing their support for RW nut jobs. Then they bid jobs, but few hire them...blame democrats again. Then they go bankrupt.
Most corporations know its suicide to show preference for one party or the other. So they donate equally to both the DNC and RNC to one, avoid the appearance of supporting one party over an other and two, they aren't shown to support a candidate.
I basically grew up around a construction site.
Edit: Forgot to add, many erroneously assume anyone who has money is Republican. My father got a lot of jobs from wealthy rich people in Hollywood who were liberal. He was agnostic when it came to politics.

(5,065 posts)Though I don't know how you wouldn't know about Penzey's, and I viewed the Red Hen as supporting their employees rather than advertising their politics.
But no, I wouldn't hire a Trumpeteer.

Years ago, at a shop a friend had wanted me to see, the owner offered me a copy of the local christian yellow pages. I said, "thank you. It's so convenient having such a handy reference for which businesses to avoid." She was smiling and nodding until I added, "every listing in this book", and walked out.

(34,425 posts)advertised their Christian principles has proven to be dishonest or worse. We had to sue one, and won a judgment, then the owner declared he was a minister who had taken a vow of poverty and had no assets.

(113,213 posts)bookstore. Good selection, friendly, knowledgable staff, good coffee. One day when I went in, the staff was busy pulling books. I asked one of them, whom I knew rather well by that time, what was happening. He said that the owner had announced that her xian faith would no longer allow her to display and sell metaphysical/pagan books. We just looked at each other and shook our heads.
She was out of business a few months later.

(14,854 posts)It's the exact same reason some business people put crosses and fish symbols on their business cards, in their advertisements, and on their websites. It's the exact same reason they say, "God bless," or "Have a blessed day," or some such to everyone. They're promoting their religion.

If the Trump loving businesses aren't in deep red areas, they are stupidly losing customers.
