1. Declare himself the winner on Nov 3rd
2. Declare all uncounted mailed ballots fraudulent, get his fed judges to demand they be thrown out
3. Push the issue to the USSC which will pull a GWBush and declare him King, disenfranchising the massive majority of voters and tossing out the votes of 2/3 of the country who mailed their ballots.

That appears to be his plan.

5. I have no idea how anyone is downplaying this

There have probably been at least 200 threads here over the years insisting Trump was going to resign. The reality was always exactly the opposite, that he'll do anything and everything to remain in power. The USPS situation was designed to manipulate the mail vote. Once that was publicized and the impact lessened, the other card is to stop the vote and allow the court system to play out in his favor.

I hope I'm wrong but I'll be shocked if this is not attempted. Why would Barr make all the nutcase comments and then back off? And once it is attempted the horse race situation takes over, far beyond anyone dares to believe. It will hardly be 99-1% or even 70-30% screaming outrage. Trump supporters will be loud and threatening. Once it's screaming from both sides that enables the court system to take the fascist route.

I don't know which way I would wager on that outcome. But I would never wager on sheer normalcy with the states operating on their own and Barr staying out of the way.

When I get our votes in the mail..we will fill them out right away...and then I'm driving mine
to the Adams county clerks office and handing it to an election official.
