What's the difference between Ahmadinejad and (insert Repub name here)?

Seriously. Have a white guy/gal read the translated transcript and there is NO difference.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to CNN's Piers Morgan: "Homosexuality ceases procreation"

In an interview airing tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Piers Morgan Tonight, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad discussed a wide-range of topics with Piers Morgan including, the assassination of Ambassador Stevens and anti-American violence in the Middle East; Israel and a potential strike on Iran; and his views on homosexuality.

On the topic of homosexuality, Piers asks the Iranian President, "Shouldn’t freedom and individuality and all those things also extend to people who just happen to be gay? Who were born gay. They weren’t made gay." "Wouldn’t it be great for the President of Iran to say you know something, everyone’s entitled to be whatever sexuality they are born to be? That would be a great symbol of freedom."

"Do you really believe that someone is born homosexual?" says Ahmadinejad. "I’m sorry. Let me ask you this. Do you believe that anyone is giving birth through homosexuality? Homosexuality ceases procreation. Who has said that if you like or believe in doing something ugly, and others do not accept your behavior, that they’re denying your freedom?"

Well, according to many here, Ahmadinejad is the most mistranslated & misunderstood man in history. Bad_Ronald Sep 2012 #5

substitute the word "Jews" for the words "illegal immigrants" and you'd swear it was a Nazi that said it.

Yoweri Museveni.

Strangely when you compare threads about the two, it's often entirely groups of people commenting.

I dunno why that might be. "In 2009, many news sources reported on Jeff Sharlet's investigation regarding ties between Museveni and the American fundamentalist Christian organization The Fellowship (also known as "The Family&quot "

Oh. That will do it.

Another difference: I can't think of a single Republican that can elicit such high levels of motherly protection from (so-called) progressives after spewing such noxious bigotry like this prick can. Condemn him and you're automatically advocating war with Iran & the rape of their country. If any Repub Pol even came close to emulating this man's language in public they'd be freely & prolifically condemned without equivocation, and rightfully so.
