Impeach Trump Or Barr! Stall the SCOTUS Nominee!

Nancy Pelosi recently said that another impeachment process is on the table to stall the SCOTUS nominee from taking RBG’s seat. This may be our only hope.

Contact Pelosi and demand she start up an impeachment hearing for Trump or Barr.

It would not stall the nomination process

Nor (since it's bound to come up again) - would it keep Trump from pardoning (insert latest theory here).

They are all various blends of Denial/Anger/Bargaining... and we all go through those phases at our own pace.

Extending grace is appropriate.

screaming thru the bullhorn Trump being criminal, corrupt, vile?

I read Moore the other day come out and attack Biden for not doing enough in Michigan as he sits ten points on average, ahead of Trump.

It is old, harmful and not honest.

The nominee might answer a question in a way that will turn support or the investigation might uncover something significant enough.

Just look at the Kavanaugh Confirmation hearing, they still pushed it thru and they will do the same on this nomination...Thats the difference between Democratic s and Republicans, Democratics are judged by different standards even from within the party remember Al Franken... We make the honorable decision, Republicans decision are based on whats good for them to maintain power...It sucks , just remember how they shut down Obama's nomination and how much did we fight for it we where convinced to follow the previous norms, but when same situation is presented to Republicans they quickly forget those norms when its to their advantage...

You are, of course, correct. There is no path forward for Democrats without a few Republicans to help them... and there's no evidence that they're willing to play along.

But if (during questioning or otherwise) it comes to light that the nominee had 15 abortions... things could fall apart.

Again... the chances are between slim and none... but Slim hasn't left the building yet.

if all the Senate Republicans that are being black mailed by the Russians where to get leaked into Democratic hands. The Democratic could side bar them and say we have the info resign and will make sure to go easy on you when the investigation start...

Just look at What Republicans did with Supreme Court Justice Kennedy, they asked him to step down why because they knew they could get a younger candidate confirmed because the had the votes in senate they secured it for the next 30yrs ... Had Obama made a nomination in first term we would still have that seat secured for 20+ years and their could have bee nothing the Republicans could do because we had the Senate advantage...

If you assume the Democratic House can rush an Impeachment vote, then the Republican Senate can do the same with the Court nomination.

This is the message I would start broadcasting: Thre Senate and White House have time to rush through a SC nomination but don't have time to take up the cause of Americans who have been hit hard by the mismanaged Covid pandemic.

If government can't work for everybody, it shouldn't work for anyone. Shut it down.

House rushes impeachment.

McConnell makes an announcement like this "in light of the allegations which will need to be addressed before the election, we will be proceeding directly to the confirmation vote. This unfortunate step is essential to preserving our democratic process and preventing these allegations from influencing the upcoming election.'

He's slimy enough to flip it around to do what he wants.

As much as we want to be able to try some Hail Mary to stop this, the only question is if the Pubs have the votes.
