Maybe outdoor receptions could be considered for those hesitant of indoor gatherings.

I have a trip to Kenya and Tanzania planned for July 2021. Some friends and I got a group rate and put down non-refundable deposits in January.

He is the patriarch of our family, loved by all, and certainly worthy of celebration.

The plan was to have our far flung family unite in his hometown for a catered dinner and party afterword.

The party was thankfully canceled after the invitations were returned with comments like "R U Nuts?"

My next HS reunion is not for a couple of years, but I hope we can get this thing licked to the point where people can be interacting more next year. The lack of socialization is hurting many people's well-being. I'm very introverted, I can handle staying in pretty well. But I feel for those who need to be around other people for their mental health.

People congregated in large numbers this summer. I’d bet the same will be true next summer. The question is whether or not it will be safe to do so. My guess is no.

Both the wife and I were to high school reunions in the last 5 years. Once is enough.

I haven't seen too many of the shows / events that are indoors rescheduled yet but things change on a daily basis so you never know.
