They wrote an excellent report of what Smithfield needed to do. The CDC director, Redfield, watered down the directives. "Must" becomes "if possible," and other milquetoast recommendations versus instruction.

The original memo was just obtained and compared to what Smithfield in SD was given in April. Hundreds at the plant and in the community died from spreading COVID-19 infections.
