operative words here, "in conjunction with Operation Warp Speed". Trump wants this to save his presidency. Wonder if it'll work. And how many people will die from this hastily created vaccine? And how will the numbers be skewed to show it is effective.

And don't get me wrong. I hope it works for suffering COVID patients. Yet I thought these vaccines took years to perfect after exhaustive trial and error

This vaccine development is actually behind the other 3 (Moderna, Pfizer, Oxford) that are already in phase 3 trials.

to be putting humans in harm's way since down the road these vaccines can cause problems even as soon as a year out from inoculation. The usual time for judging safety and efficacy is longer I thought. I see the trump administration putting extreme pressure on these companies to save his p-rezidency.

By definition, a vaccine is a preventative measure.



We need TREATMENTS for those who are already infected, and I hear very little about research into treatments (some, but not a lot).
