Virtual ain't gonna cut it for our ground game

I get the caution but we need to start putting boots on the ground so to speak and start knocking on doors old school style. The GOP are doing it. Time to adjust our ground game strategy now. This virtual shit ain’t going to cut it.

So, no point in debating this issue. The Biden campaign has decided this is their approach with the pandemic. We'll see if it works or not in a month and a half.

It does seem to be a coordinated attack on Biden.

Trump’s campaign seems to have the energetic supporters out there doing sign ups and door knocks with masks. This virtual thing has never been done before and they are nervous to take this risk. I want people safe but I’m getting a little concerned about him energizing and mobilizing his nuts too.

Let Joe run his campaign; he is paying attention to detailed polling, including the one shown on MJ today that says Americans DO NOT WANT COVID knocking on their doors.

Nobody is to cross the rope, including letter carriers etc.

Certainly not canvassers. That would really backfire with most voters, per the poll shared on Morning Joe.

Generally speaking, Democrats aren’t willing to expose others to a deadly virus in the middle of a global pandemic.

Voters overwhelmingly prefer that campaigns don’t dispatch workers to knock on their doors as part of their outreach efforts, with the number rising because of the pandemic that has sickened millions of Americans.

Sixty-three percent of voters now feel apprehensive about encountering canvassers outside their door, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll released Tuesday. Just 28 percent say they are comfortable being contacted in person by campaign volunteers.
