It seems to me that as it gets colder, covid rates will rise in nearly

Every state, simply because most people spend more time indoors when it’s cold. Isn’t that the reason there’s more flu in cold weather?

3. Yes. In Wisconsin, when the kids go back to school is a good example.

Parents will tell you that their kids were healthy all summer, but when they're put in a classroom colds start passing around almost immediately. Especially if it's cold enough to warrant shutting all the windows.

When we're back indoors the flu takes off!

The combination of back-to-school, cooler weather, and pandemic fatigue could potentially send case counts soaring higher to a third peak.

6. Maybe, if bars and restaurants are packed, but that's not happening, maybe more will just stay home

Holiday parties spread a lot of germs, too. Looks like we probably won't be having as many of them this year.

They've quietly been preparing for Covid-19 admissions to increase dramatically as the weather gets colder. She says all the hospitals in the area are doing the same.

9. And the Covid may be coupled with cold, flu and other viral infections. Look for rise in deaths.
