No, that's a scare tactic. Any contesting they do won't change the outcome..... KY_EnviroGuy Sep 2020 #4

and I plan to vote in person. On our first day of early voting I will drive to my nearest polling place, and if I decide that the line is longer than I want to deal with, I'll go to my second choice polling place, and if necessary return each day as needed. Actually, here in New Mexico, people are wearing masks everywhere, and so I'm guessing I'll vote that very first day.

Hooray for living in a state that does it right!

We requested absentee ballots, but are considering early voting rather than returning them.

I hate being forced to vote a certain way for fear of corruption, but I also hate the idea of my vote being discounted due to corruption.

My state won't allow me to vote in person since I requested absentee ballot.
Anyhow, voting in person during a pandemic is not my cup of tea.

but instead would just delay the results. Besides, they must have valid reasons to contest ballots. Personally, I'm far more worried about voting machine systems being hacked than I am on any issue with mail-in ballots. I'm still getting my bills in the mail and my payments are being delivered.

Folks like me who are high-risk with COVID-19 need encouragement that mail-in is safe, not fearmongering which could cause many of us to expose ourselves to the virus and/or the flu.

Me too... I worried about the machines long before Dump blathered about mail-in voting or had someone hobble the USPS.

I don't trust my Governor will protect and count it after orders from trump. But even if all mail in voting was stopped , trump would use another excuse to disrupt the vote counting, and results because he knows he's losing badly everywhere. Its backfiring against trump and republicans after hearing a family member has had enough of trump and republicans now, and i suspect many more will follow, and run from him and republicans. trumps desperation is growing , and he's publicly committing federal crimes. trump and republicans day of reckoning is coming very soon, and he knows it.
