Remember this? Amber Guyger convicted of murder in wrong-apartment killing of innocent man

https://abcnews.go.com/US/amber-guyger-convicted-murder-wrong-apartment-killing-innocent/story?id=65978073

This is practically the same story.

-----------------------------------------

A Texas jury rejected former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger's self-defense claims and convicted her of murder on Tuesday in the fatal 2018 shooting of an innocent man eating ice cream in his own home after mistaking his apartment for her own.

The 12-member jury reached its verdict after deliberating for less than two days. Guyger stood as Dallas County District Court Judge Tammy Kemp read the decision.

"We the jury unanimously find the defendant Amber Guyger guilty of murder as charged in the indictment," Kemp read.

Correct. but the real target of the arrest had already been placed into custody *40 minutes prior* Roland99 Sep 2020 #9
Not really - the man he killed was the son of a prominent St Lucian malaise Sep 2020 #3

Guyger didn't have a warrant and Botham was not connected to any crime. She entered his apartment thinking it was hers and murdered him. In Breonna's case they had a warrant which is the big difference. With that said, Cameron is a DEPLORABLE and him stringing Breonna's family along for 195 days was cruel.

Oh, the warrant was for the wrong apartment. The judge should be removed then

It actually had both her ex-BF and her on it.

The thing was, they knew he wasn’t there and were in fact taking him into custody at another location.

Glover heard the calls on the cops' radios saying "shots fired" as they broke into Breonna's apartment as he was already cuffed

Cops later changed times on his arrest to match the time the other cops stormed Breonna's apartment

family and the Prime Minister of St Lucia happens to be white.
Botham also worked with a multinational firm.
That is all

If so, no they are very different.

The police were there on official business and they were at the correct address.

I’m not debating whether they should have been there (they shouldn’t have) but it’s not a comparable case.
