Assuming we have the Senate majority, which I’m beginning to believe really can happen, there’s not much more damage he can do. His appointment of right-wing judges will stop. Pence will then pardon him, along with Jared and Ivanka, for any federal crime he could ever have thought of. And the’s no way he will stay and show any class in seeing a new president inaugurated.

The real question then is where he goes. If he goes to Florida, New York can still go after him. He may not believe that they will really indict a former president or that he can simply pay fines and be done. I don’t actually see him leaving the country, but he might if the legal problems get too close.
