Do I believe he will try to remain in power after losing? Yes.

Do I believe the GOP will steal the election. They are doing their best, so preventing that from happening is up to us. Do everything in you power to make sure your vote is counted.

Do I believe the rest of the Government will accept the results? Not entirely, some elements won’t, but I think the majority will welcome a return of decency.

This is about radicalizing his base inside and outside the government, authoritarian regimes rarely come to power with majority support. They come to power by radicalizing their supporters and intimidating their opposition.
