Absolute proof USPS is deliberately delaying mails.

So I ordered a book from a 3rd party seller on Amazon, look at the tracking results. Went from Las Vegas to DFW in 2 days. Since then they have been essentially sitting on it. Before this rubbish it would been delivered on Monday the 21st.

Some items are lower priority than 1st class (or better mail).

here are USPS shipping times by service level.

https://pe.usps.com/text/dmm100/choosing-service.htm

what service level was your package sent and does it align with these?

So it is late.

Not sure about other mail. Most of it is junk. I have paperless billing.

in fact most books are shipped via the "media mail" rate which is far cheaper and much slower.

I sent priority mail to Ann Arbor, Michigan (from metro Atlanta GA). The letter went to a Michigan post office first, then all around the country damn near before it got back into Michigan and was finally delivered (almost a week late).

to a small business I work with in Oklahoma. Several times over the years, my packages have gotten caught up in strange, endless loops, usually between the Tulsa and Hulbert post offices. Not saying the post office isn’t a mess but this may not necessarily be proof. I think it has been a mess for years.
