(16,844 posts)Guess it takes a Trump to bring down a Trump. You know, she probably wouldn't have done this if Donald and the other siblings hadn't cheated Mary and her brother out of their share of the inheritance. This is payback, bigly!

(16,844 posts)out of her inheritance. Ironically or not, she's probably a better person for it. But that doesn't mean what was done to her was okay and should just be forgiven. She's wise enough to see all of that now, I'm sure. She's the only Trump I would like to know. She's actually got some dignity about her.

(2,008 posts)I'm coming from ignorance here, having not read the NY Times article nor her book (yet!). I can't imagine she'd have access to his 2016 or 2017 taxes. Also, the NYT seems to be withholding access directly to the taxes to protect their source whereas Mary has been pretty open that she'd do what she could to sabotage him. If she's the source, would they really need to shield her?
