$750 x 2 Yrs. in a row ? Have YOU ever paid exact same amount 2 years in a row? That's fishy.

I've paid taxes for over 45 years. Never the same amount 2 years running. What about you??
Certainly seems impossible when talking about his numbers.
There's always some variation in anyones' income from year to year, it seems to me.

This suggests that il Doofus (grudgingly, no doubt) agreed to pay some token amount and for whatever reason settled on $750, told his accountants to reverse-engineer his 1040-BS form to get that result, and didn't listen to anybody who tried to tell him that having the same round-number bottom line two years in a row was a red flag.

Just to show in an election year and his first year as *president he could say he paid some taxes. Like someone wrote it was reverse engineered for that purpose.

The Chump Organization has been overstating their expenses and understating their income in order to pay the lowest taxes. Or in Chump's case - pay no tax at all. They've been taking questionable write-downs (losses) in order to reduce taxes year after year, even though the IRS never agreed with the original write-down. So the error (fraud) has been compounding for the last 20 years.

Meanwhile Chump went to sleazy banks like DeutscheBank who do business with crooks, and the business documents overstate their income and understate their expenses. This is to make it look like Chump is making more money than he actually is, because he needs the loans.

It's a massive shell game and Chump has never been called to question on it. When he did go to court he played dumb and stupid, he just said that's what the accountants told him, stuff like that. It's ridiculous. Lock Him Up Already!

I've learned most of this from reading David Cay Johnston's books and weekly columns - also confirmed by Michael Cohen.

What type of idiot would pay for that twice?

Once you get it done, you can just turn in the exact same form the next year. Just change the year on it!

I thought it was to make the elites pay something, even if no where near their fair share.
