Project Veritas raises it's ugly head again.

Last edited Tue Sep 29, 2020, 11:16 AM - Edit history (1)

Hannity last night was promoting a video about Minnesota Rep. Omar ballot harvesting. Project Veritas .....uses undercover techniques to reveal supposed liberal bias and corruption and is known for producing deceptively edited videos about .....left-leaning groups. In a 2018 book .....Harvard University scholars refer to Project Veritas as a "right-wing disinformation outfit". In March 2020, The New York Times published an exposé detailing Project Veritas' use of spies recruited by Erik Prince, to infiltrate "Democratic congressional campaigns .....and other groups considered hostile to the Trump agenda".

Edited to correct Rep. Omar's home state, Thanks for the help everyone, my bad.

2. Why aren't they banned on social media like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn?

If negligent social media won't clean up its act, maybe it's getting time we left social media for more trusted venues. It's really ridiculous we have to put up with all this blatant disinformation.

Project Veritas is a POS organization and I hate how they keep putting stuff out and people invariably tend to fall for it. This hasn't exploded into any major publications yet but hopefully it doesn't go anywhere. It's not surprising that they would be trying to find something involving ballots.

Flagged as false and deceptive information.

If enough people alert it does make a difference.

Simply reminding DUers who take the time to read the Wikipedia article who project veritas is. Therefore giving us the knowledge to confront our brainwashed repug neighbors when they bring this subject up. What did you not understand?

Switched over to faux noise during halftime of M.T.F. (GO CHIEFS) just to see what lies he was spewing and found one that was very disturbing. Faux noise has gone so low they're now reporting from China. Thanks for pointing out my mistake earlier.

Surely she knows the history of Project Veritas.

Now she is citing them and Rodney Davis (R-IL), for christ's sake.
