The fight over the Trump admin's effort to end census field ops early keeps getting messier — a judge blocked the admin from ending it 9/30, Commerce then said it'll end 10/5, and census workers have emailed the court saying they've been told to wrap it up

The judge has ordered the parties to file a response addressing the emails from census workers by tomorrow at 8am PDT

beyond the 1st week of October. (Not the job I wanted for someone who spent last year in chemo, but jobs are hard to find these days.)
