The shitstorm from Trump was predictable. I wish Joe had gotten off some more memorable lines in response to it.

2. I thought that Joe's facial expressions while Trump was stupidly ranting were more eloquent

than anything Trump said.

but, while I was watching, I was thinking how someone who was verbally quicker, like Al Franken or Obama would have had withering comebacks.

I hope that most people will sympathize with Joe and see that Trump is unhinged, but in the moment, I desperately wanted stronger responses.
