really wasn't trying to defend him very hard after the debate. He sounded like he was pretty down; defeated even.

Axelrod even gave him credit afterwards. pRick did admit that he didn’t think Trump would be “THAT hot”. pRick agreed that it was too much.

He also observed that in debates with no break you can get lost on stage. You have no real feel as to how you are doing. Axelrod agreed with this too saying that in the first debate with Romney, Obama cane off stage thinking he’d done really well.
