"The SPLC lists ADF as a hate group because it has supported the idea that being LGBTQ+ should be a crime in the U.S. and abroad and believes that is OK to put LGBTQ+ people in prison for engaging in consensual sex. It has also supported laws that required the forced sterilization of transgender Europeans."

Jesus's own words haunt them about helping the poor, wealth, marriage, and doing good. Words JC never spoke are ones which now torment them such as abortion, race, LGBT and voting for Rs.
An article may indicate a trend in-part set in motion by the conflicts with their faith Trump elicits:

(28,762 posts)She testified that she was aware prior to the point she spoke to the group... and that she doesn't vet all of the positions of a group before she speaks to them.
Proving the first doesn't help much since she doesn't appear to be denying it. Proving that she knew of some specific position would be more useful, but I'm not sure how it would be proved.

(28,762 posts)She said that she knew prior to speaking to them and that she wasn't sure when that was.
If she had said something like "by then it was too late to back out" or implied that she wouldn't speak to them today... that might mean something... but she seemed instead to reject ADF being a hate group in the first place.
The line between senators who accept SPLC's definition of hate groups and those who reject it... is essentially identical to the line between senators who originally voted to confirm her and those who voted against confirmation. I doubt that has changed much.
