Trump is hoping that he's driving a bargain for money and property, and that his surrendering of US secrets to Russia is worth a fortune that Putin will return to him.

What Trump doesn't know is that Putin feels no such obligation for a transaction. He got from Trump what he wanted. He'll string Trump along with hints of riches for as long as Trump is in power, squeezing one classified nugget out of Trump after another. When Trump loses, Putin, howling with laughter, will discard Trump like a piece of used jet trash. His comment? "Stupid Americans."

Trump himself is the loser and the sucker. Putin will prove it.

It's like an Alfred Hitchcock movie, where something horrible is happening in slow motion from six different angles. Only in this case, it's the destruction of our Republic by someone who cannot even speak in complete sentences.

Trump will still be useful to Putin at the very least for propaganda purposes. Imagine Trump from Moscow railing against the US and its leaders. That would be a good thing for Putin's ongoing campaign to sow discord in our country.

Plus, I think Trump will save some secrets as a form of insurance vis a vis Putin and Russia.

Putin won't cut off Trump due to what will be Trump's continued usefulness to Russia.
