Of course they weren't going to agree to having the mikes cut. drumpfs ego would never allow that, nor would his hate for others. He wants to bully and knows that's a feature with uneducated white men who make up his base. Without the possibility of non-stop bullying, he won't show. Now maybe he will do the town hall because the format is different, but I doubt it. He knows that format greatly benefits Biden over him because he has no empathy and just wants to put out self-aggrandizing lies. He wants to yell and scream at every Biden answer so no one can hear the much better plans. If the election is based on no information, he does better and he knows it. PUtin told him so during their long talks this summer, I bet.
