CNN brought up a sobering point...

...that, given the close proximity and lack of masks, this is likely to become a superspreader event. And not just among White House staffers and Trump's family -- literally everyone they've been in contact with should now be considered at risk. And that would not just mean Trump's political allies, but also many of the leaders responsible for national security. If a large number become ill, our country may well be at severe risk.

Being mask-less for example.

Trump is a germaphobe, yes, but does nothing to protect himself. What he does do, and brags about, is making other people be "clean" so he doesn't have to.

Testing is a reaction, not a prevention.

BREAKING: The timeline problem the White House is facing is that according to Trump's 9PM FNC interview with Hannity, the White House waited *12 hours* to test him after it knew Hicks had COVID-19. That's unlikely—meaning Trump may have lied on FNC about if he had a deadly virus.

Or he may have first tested negative, then tested later and it was positive. (Have heard of cases like this)

I'm pretty sure he knew he had at 9 PM...Don't know if his interview with Hannity was recorded earlier.

But there is considerable redundancy built into the national security apparatus.

One also need note that being exposed is not necessarily enough to cause folks to be unable to do their jobs.
