He'd fake his own death before he'd resign in disgrace or lose by a landslide.

He is a liar and unable to tell the truth. What reason do we have to believe him now?

1. But he MIGHT resign for "health" reasons

And then say he has accomplished more in one term than any 3 presidents combined

The sooner he leaves the better.

5. Agreed. It could be real. My immediate choice was to believe it false because I have

zero trust in him or his administration.

9. It's a reality show for him. Every plot twist has a purpose and serves to cover this debacle

of a presidency.

3. In my life I've often been forced to accept circumstances that I did not choose. Between

Fate and Karma I suspect that tRUMP will soon be in the same predicament.

7. Could happen. Hard to imagine him accepting anything he doesn't like, though.

Would be a new experience for him.

10. I feel the same way.

He's using the Hicks diagnosis as an opportunity to divert attention from recent events and perhaps to avoid doing more debates.
It's interesting to me they felt it necessary to produce a letter from the WH physician with his positive diagnosis but never bothered to produce proof of the negative ones.

11. If he uses it as an escape hatch to resign right before an election he knows he will lose......

Then he escapes with being able to say he has not lost an election. His ego doesn't take the hit, even if his immunity from prosecution does. But then Pence pardons him, campaigns in his stead, loses, and rides off into the sunset after the inauguration, which Trump has now avoided having to attend.
