After sleeping on it, I'm at least open to the possibility that something in this story stinks

When my girlfriend woke up this morning, her immediate reaction was "Trump says he has coronavirus, then miraculously recovers by taking the drug from the company he owns stock in."

And of course, last night...while I was awake and this was unfolding...there were 50 other theories that could have been EASILY spun on this curent version of "The Apprentice."

But theere's something in all of this that stinks. Not sure what, but there's AT LEAST a 50-50 chance that we are looking at an October surprise from the guy who said "I sent my investigators down to Hawaii and YOU WON'T BELIEVE what they found" (nothing found, no investigators, no trip).

Covid is different. His mishandling and minimizing of the plague make a fake story highly unlikely---way too much humiliation involved. An effective vaccine is a long ways off. One way or another, I'm enjoying myself like I thought I never would again.
