I have two Trumpy neighbors who are excited about the possible of Pence stepping in. They must, genetically and ideologically, vote Republican. They like tRump's policies, but can't stand the guy. Pence solves all their problems. I don't think they could care less how well he would run the country. My guess is that Pence already has a VP chosen for him, someone like Nikki Haley, who as a female checks the "progressive" box, and as a Caucasian also checks the "non-threatening" box. I don't know if this is the ultimate Deep Fake or not. We're in for an even bumpier ride for awhile.
