Was bein discussed on another site I was watching earlier.
I'm sure all the news outlets will have an unending line of "in the know" guests on this week end to tell us all about it.

4. The Constitution explicitly says that Trump's term ends on January 20

That can’t be changed or postponed except by a constitutional amendment. States have the power to delay elections, but they can’t postpone them forever. If January 20 comes and goes with no new President, then we will say hello to President Pelosi.

6. CIVICS 101

election goes on, people vote for the electors assigned to the candidates. If somehow a candidate should die, the respective DNC or RNC names a replacement. Hypothetically if trump dies, and wins the election, the RNC CAN ASSIGN the presidency. How do you like that?? Would they name PUTIN??? LOL

I got a lot of lazy answers like yours. I think your apparent understanding of basic civics is what shows a lack of knowledge. It is not as simple as merely voting for a person when it comes to presidential elections. For any other office votes are cast for a specific person. In the case of presidential elections one votes for electors who choose the president. If the candidate they are supposed to choose is dead or incapacitated can they pick anyone they want? This could become a very messy constitutional issue that goes WAY beyond whatever you learned in Schoolhouse Rock.

It's obvious the literacy in civics is lower.
