Trump has COVID, what happens next in the campaign?

He's losing WI, MI, and PA badly right now. He's 50/50 in OH, NC and FL. If Biden holds PA, WI, and MI, he's got 278 EVs right now and has won the election.

He can afford to lose WI and MI, but he can't win with out PA, plus must win every toss up state right now and keep all Red states that are showing poll problems (like TX).

Trump, needs to be out hustling right now until November 3.

If he follows minimal COVID quarantine protocols of 2 weeks, that is half the time he has left to hustle for votes. Its insane to think of the ground he will lose by not being out there.

He's always said the optics of him wearing a mask or looking sick is bad for him, so I don't see how he'll do virtual campaigning while in quarantine. And if it hits him hard, like it does, no way he'll get on camera in that condition.

This diagnosis should cripple any momentum his campaign desperately needs right now.

Its going to be real interesting seeing how his campaign carries on.

But my question is about his campaign. And how voters will take it, not him.

How does his campaign continue in the best of circumstances with a positive COVID test and symptoms that are presenting today?

How will voters feel as they go to the polls (mail, absent, or in person) knowing that he's got COVID?

If his symptoms persist up to Nov. 3, will voters vote for him though he's incapacitated? Who are they voting for at that point, Pence?

Will the GOP try to dump him from the ticket and move Pence up and some other schmoe?
