he also got the latest most promising treatment out there. i'm not even sure it's approved yet, but even if it is, i know goddam well if i get covid i won't be afforded that treatment.

You are right about his age and it could very well be precautionary as they claimed. But I think it's more serious than they let on.

Maybe his cult followers can finally see how dangerous COVID truly is and the preventive steps we pushed aren't just lies or to take away their freedom. We need everyone to follow the same guideline to get out of this pandemic. It doesn't matter if I adhere to them when they go spread COVID left and right out there. I want the economy to go back but we can't do that until the whole country take it seriously.

19. My dad, a retired Respiratory Therapist, said don't go on a ventilator unless it's

absolutely necessary and a true emergency. It's not necessary in many cases and can do more harm than good. There's no way to get the vent tubes 100% sterile (that's his opinion, not sure if it's true or not).

It might have been different when your dad was working.
