(7,370 posts)I think her little pinky knows more about how the government works than the ENTIRE administration.
What did they tell her? "Just shut up. If Dear Leader has any problems, Uday Trump will take over".

(18,402 posts)just said that everyone in the top half of the line of succession (he listed 8 or 10 people) should seriously consider going into quarantine as a precaution, given the possibility of further spread.

(24,721 posts)but if hes been exposed and he most likely was, he could still fall ill. This seems like a prudent move to me.
Pence could be a ticking timebomb too.

(26,009 posts)while Trump is too sick to function, under Article 25. But it would not necessarily be a permanent takeover of the presidency, requiring a VP appointment. That could happen eventually, but I don't think they are at that stage yet.
Looks like we might finally get an Article 25 on Trump.

(17,802 posts)First, the gop and the wh has already signaled they will challenge the succession act of '47 in court. The chain of succession is apparently a law, not an amendment. They will drag it to scotus before pelosi is sworn in.
Second, when have they EVER consulted a dem, especially pelosi, on anything? Really, they didn't even bother to tell the biden campaign he was exposed tuesday night.
Lastly, these are hyper political animals, not gov't workers. They don't do anything without a political angle, and planning to calmly hand over power to a president pelosi just isn't in their thoughts even fleatingly.
The only angle they could have is to try to scare republicans into what can happen if they don't stay in line.
