From a source close to Trump

JUST IN: A source familiar with the president's condition tells reporters:

“The president’s vitals over the last 24 hours were very concerning and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care. We’re still not on a clear path to a full recovery.”

It was Mark Meadows

For what it's worth, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said this in an "off the record" huddle despite live cameras still rolling.

Meadows then noticed the cameras and asked they be shut off before he'd share more "off the record" stuff.

conducted last night with a former White House medic who still has contacts inside the WH. She said Trump was having difficulty breathing and she expressed serious concern.

When someone tells me a falsehood that can easily be established, I tend not to trust anything else they say.

Pretty sure they acknowledged his weight yesterday was 284. EVEN if he actually is 6'2", that puts his BMI at 36.5 - well into the obese range (which starts at 30)

I'm wondering if Donald Trump has ever been very ill in his life. Maybe not even a really bad bout of the flu, so he probably has just taken his health for granted. That could be why he makes no real attempt to eat healthy or get regular exercise. He has mistakenly believed it is all in his genes and that he doesn't have to do anything to stay healthy.

Oh well, some people learn the hard way.

What purpose does that possibly serve.

Think about if Trump would have played his cards differently - developed a strong, coordinated nation response, worked with all the governors to require masks and social distancing, actually invoked the war production act instead of just pretending he did, and making sure everyone had what they needed.

And masks? What if Trump had been a stickler for masks, and had not bullied his staff about wearing them? What if he had conformed to what the CDC told us we need to do?

If he had comported himself in this manner, caught COVID and was in Walter Reed, we would be having vigils for him and he'd absolutely walk away with the election if he recovered.

But that just isn't in him. He is a sociopath, a malignant narcissist who doesn't care for anyone or anything, and who is literally incapable of feeling compassion or empathy. Plus, he really is a pathological liar.

So we have what we have. A White House with a GIANT credibility problem, and an election that will likely be a landslide for Biden.

(But don't get overconfident - we need everyone who can vote to vote)!!!!!!

with the constant lies, accusations and bullshit. I find it almost impossible to believe anything said by any staff members whether for good or ill. They are reprehensible in their dishonesty. Their desire to spread "alternative facts" hangs over them all like a dark cloud of their own creation.
The fact that the entire tRump family refused to wear masks at any time during the debate due to their haughty disregard for the warnings of scientific experts shows their disdain for the lives of Americans and is repugnant beyond belief.
