About That Trump Video

No marks on his hands, Remesdivir only given through IV. https://www.remdesivir.com/us/dosing-administration/

Same suit, no tie, extreme shortness of breath. It is possible they gave it through his wrist, not preferred, but then, he had it pulled out to make a video? As much as he is said to whine? Then has to get it put right back in?

I have questions.

Are they going to pull an IV just to make a video from a seriously ill patient?

To be fair, I don't think he said the video was from today. But who know with these people? All they do is lie.

You get a PICC line in your arm that is used for various IV bags of whatever the doctor prescribes. Easy to conceal in a suit.

But a sick Covid patient, also contagious, obviously, no mask when he should be wearing one, out of bed, unhook the IV, roll him to a table, then make a video? Bad judgment if nothing else.

The needle stays in and has a quick connect closely upstream (there is a name for the device which I can't recall offhand). It could be easily covered by a loose sleeve.

My IV was on the inside of my elbow, not my wrist, but yes, if I was a doctor, I'd be concerned about a patient putting on a shirt and jacket that could potentially rip out the IV. My guess was that this was pre-recorded before he left the White House.

And look at his face just after he says “therapeutics”. There’s a cough or a gag or maybe the start of a really disturbing twitch unsuccessfully edited.

They often use a vein along the forearm. Would be dang uncomfortable without a suit, but definitely not impossible.

His breathing is terrible. It's not totally obvious and many people will gloss over it and think he's fine. He's trying to push through his words, but you can hear the little weak exhales and gasps.
