The huge difference between Boris Johnson and Trump regarding "sympathy".

When Johnson contracted the disease, it was in the initial spread around the world. His case was a result of bad luck and timing.

Trump, on the other hand, contracted the disease 8 mos. after knowing about it and how deadly it was going to be. Eight mos.!!!! Also, he downplayed it, ridiculed mitigation efforts, and mocked people wearing masks. He practically was begging for the disease.

Sure, his nutty followers will have sympathy, and maybe people will hope that he recovers, but I don't see the general public having sympathy for an idiot.

We'll just have to wait for the next batch of polls. I don't think this helps Trump long-term but with it being so close to the election, any bump could be significant. If, however, he doesn't see a bump over the next week or so, it's hard to believe he'll receive one at all.

But they stated it'd take more time to see if it was just noise or actual movement.

However, it sure has wiped clean from media all the exploding and negative headline news from books and tapes.

They hinted they will have more but it's malpractice to drop them right now.
