COVID is the topic Trump polls absolutely the worst on. Everyday spent talking about COVID, and superspreaders, and risks of the President dying, and drug treatment options, and insufficient test and poor mask use pushes Trump further down in the polls.

The ideal scenario is the media talks about nothing but COVID and terribly bad Trump is about all this until election day. It could be a landslide for the record books.

Yeah, they’re not talking about that. Instead, they’re talking about how irresponsible he is, how sick he may be, how bad his stunt was, the cover up, the outbreak in the WH.

The focus is back on the single thing the Trump campaign didn’t want to talk about in the stretch run — the fucking virus, which feeds right back into his impotent reckless response.

So who gives a shit, he’s worse off if they’re talking about this. That should be OBVIOUS.

Totally agree with your great point about this being personal. I’ve been cooped up in my house for 7 months. I haven’t seen my parents who live 2 hours away since last Christmas. My wife and I have lost a year with our niece and nephew who are at fun ages. Everyone has a story. No one is unaffected.

Shifting to Trump's WORST ISSUE, even among Republicans, MAKES NO SENSE. COVID is Trump's worst issue by far.

I know everyone is shellshocked by so much lying, and not knowing what to believe, but please, apply some common sense.

Worse than the debate. Than almost everything.

The one story his campaign wanted to recede was Covid. Now it will top the news till the election.

Covid weaklings he always puts down and his followers as his betrayed chumps is far worse than being a tax cheat. We all knew he bragged about that as proof of his superiority, cheating the IRS a strongman cred that his hard-cores admire him for.

Now, most who refused to believe Covid was dangerous will find it increasingly more difficult to deny to themselves that they've been defiantly spreading a killer disease, and in the process exposing themselves and their loved ones to much greater danger than Trump repeatedly told them.

Covid's the big story. Of course. We're in the middle of an ongoing holocaust, 209,000 to a quarter million already dead and deaths expected to double to 400,000 to half a million by Christmas, then continuing next year. And there are also all those with permanently destroyed health and wellbeing.

Focused attention right before the GE on those truths and their depraved indifference to the lives of all Americans is an absolute disaster for Trump and the Republican Party. They only needed one more month...
