(21,224 posts)Deciding to turn them in election or go downtown to deposit them directly. I live in a blue state and very blue area. No voting problems.
I just couldnt imagine living where they restrict your vote based on your ethnicity and your party preference.

(7,402 posts)I think it would count as a personal tragedy should my vote not count in this election.

(1,328 posts)Since Californias ballots dont drop into the mail until the Monday, the fifth, you are either in another state (the likely situation), or you are mistaking the sample ballots which arrived in California mailboxes this weekend. I suspect its the former, rather than the latter, but just to be sure and because your vote may be the one that puts us over, I thought Id check.

(617 posts)I voted in the 2018 midterms so I presumed I was still active. But I decided to check this evening because I haven't received my mail-in ballot yet. It showed inactive. I had to change it quick.

(11,253 posts)It was active when I checked about a month ago.
I tried to re-register but I got this error.
We could not find your signature on the file at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or you did not give consent to use your DMV signature. You must sign a printed copy of your voter registration application.
So I guess I need to sign a printed copy and mail It In.
