IV dexamethasone...sure does put "Pep in your step"....insomnia, increased appetite, can raise blood glucose levels.....I say IV because he probably got a 1 GM dose daily....that is a big dose...

1 GM or 1000mg of dexamethasone in 100 ml NS bag/ drip over 1 hour...say daily x 3-4 days..

This drug has known side effects as mentioned above...him being elderly...side effect of impaired judgement seems to be top of the list for him!

We have just begun to see drug-addled crazy. This is powerful behavior-changing stuff. Not in a good way.
