Keep in mind, there were many tweets from staff members while Mr. Trump was on stage for the Presidential Debate on September 29.

Fair point, but no. We currently only track tweets-per-hour as our main weather metric.

The administration has sold this Monday release over the weekend, and it's baffling. This is a four-rail billiards shot. If Trump doesn't leave the hospital today, it's an admission that they're just blowing smoke. If he's released but has to back, it will be obvious they pressured the doctors into making a bad decision. The only way this works is if Trump actually does improve and stays improved. That is, he follows doctors' orders, paces himself and doesn't get over-tired, and adheres to a strict schedule getting regular rest. How much money would you put on that proposition?

1) Trump were never sick at all. (Which, due to the GrOPper co-infecteds, we know is almost vanishingly unlikely.)
2) A miracle cure happened. (Also, incredibly unlikely based on the statistical realities of COVID.)

Trump really believes this isn't a big deal and he'll still believe it as they lower what's left of him into the family plot.

Ah, the dangers of wagering when you believe your own hubris.
