Why should a army navy medical facility (Walter Reed) be considered a...

better hospital with higher quality doctors than the Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinics, or John Hopkins? Or any of the other in the top 20 hospitals?

And if that is the case it is saying that Walter Reed is not a top notch hospital and neither are all of their doctors. Especially when they have quacks like Ronnie Jackson or the current WH doctor. Maybe they have some and hope they do for those needs specific to military related needs.

And there is likely a reason why Walter Reed is used by the President and VP. Especially when it is generally staffed by military personnel. That likely have security clearances.

(from what I understand). The ones at the other hospitals you mentioned would not have those constraints.

My first thoughts were that doctors would pretty much be shoe-ins for security clearances. On the second read, I read ...staffed by military personnel...who likely have security clearances.
That being said, your post raises a good question in comparing WR with top notch civilian facilities. Hopefully someone knows.
