It's an old golf joke ;-)
Saw it earlier today on DU but I don't know who posted it:
Ralph and Sam have been best friends and golfing buddies for many years. They had sworn a pact that whichever one of them died first would come back and tell the other if there was, indeed, golf in heaven. Well, Sam dies, and Ralph awaits confirmation.
Some weeks later, Ralph wakes from a deep sleep when he hears his name called. He sees Sam standing beside his bed. Eagerly, he greets Sam, and, impatiently, asks, "well, is there golf in heaven?"
Sam replies, "well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is, yes, there is golf. The courses are amazing, better than we could have imagined", and continues extolling heavenly golf at length.
Puzzled, Ralph asks, "so what is the bad news?"
"Your tee time is 9a.m."
