Insanity. Is 12 points reachable? And Trump up by 20 points? WTF?

Politics is still a racial game in Alabama. Granted, that's true nationally and regionally but it's amplified in Alabama.
While watching a public TV piece on Emmitt Till tonight, the feelings voiced by the white Mississippians decrying Till and the prosecution of murderers didn't sound alien at all. They sound similar to sentiments I still hear expressed down here.

Here's a link that I hope works to an ad that really seems to sum it up.

(65,180 posts)Perhaps he can still help the Democrats in Alabama if he loses. I prefer more liberal in Bidens cabinet, but maybe he could get something like Sec of VA or Attorney General (he has a good civil rights record).

Jones made the morally correct choice to impeach Trump. Those dolts were going to throw him out no matter what he did anyway and he probably realized that.

It's too bad Tuberville failed as a football coach.

(669 posts)Alabama is a disastrous state for you to live in, if you are African-American. Auburn and Alabama are able to recruit the talent to its football programs because of a combination of talented athletes growing up in poverty looking for a way to lift their families out of it (think Trent Richardson when he played for UA), and boosters that line the pockets of their families to get them to play at the schools.

Are you bored today or something? Focus on Florida. You all cannot even register to vote down there. Machines crashing and all. A Governor that wants to infect everybody. We are GOOD in Michigan and Gary Peters is too.
Take Care.
Money. When Trent Richardson signed with Alabama his mother suddenly got a job "house sitting" a 450,000 dollar home in Tuscaloosa. Go check the parking lot at an Alabama football practice. Looks like a damn Motor Trend best of 2020 car show despite most of those kids coming from families living well below the poverty level.

(290 posts)Doug Jones is a great man. Make no mistake about it, prosecuting the good old boys who killed those little black girls will never be seen as a positive in that state. I would love to see Biden make him AG or at least appointed federal prosecutor for that district.
