Biden Pulls Away from Trump
October 6, 2020 at 6:35 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

A new CNN poll finds Joe Biden’s advantage over Donald Trump has widened among likely voters to 57% to 41%.

“Likely voters broadly prefer Biden over Trump on a number of issues that voters consider critically important in the race, including the coronavirus outbreak (59% prefer Biden, 38% Trump), health care (59% to 39%), racial inequality in America (62% to 36%), nominations to the Supreme Court (57% to 41%) and crime and safety (55% to 43%).”

“The two are about even over who would better handle the economy (50% say Biden, 48% Trump), similar to where they have been among registered voters in recent polling.”

He was gasping like a guppy at the top of a tank of dead water. He’s most likely still on supplemental O2, but had to take it off for his photo op stunt. Also, him “feeling 20 years younger”; that’s a direct result of the dexamethasone. Steroids, especially strong ones, will give you this feeling of good health, almost like a high, but without the euphoria of narcotics. Remember, Herman Caine tweeted how well he felt just three days before he bit the bullet. He was very likely on steroids too, as he had been he classic, COVID-19 pneumonia. And, Dolt45’s docs said he’s “not out of the woods” yet. My opinion: This sounds like Herman Caine to me, but I’m just a (cardiac cath lab/cardiac surgery) nurse, and don’t have all the facts of the case. So take my opinion there for what it’s worth.

Tue Oct 6, 2020, 07:10 AM
Oct 2020

I need to dig up the article but Trump has been surging lately in new voter registration in battle ground states. The polls are meaningless compared to the people who are newly registered to vote. Those are your likely voters not people who say they will.

OTOH we are leading in mail in ballots so that is something

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/514480-democrats-lead-republicans-in-new-voter-registrations-in-four-battleground

Pennsylvania Dems 45% Rep 31%

North Carolina plus 60,000

Florida plus 60,000

AZ plus 11,000

But these numbers even understate the advantage because of the large number of independents that are registering and Biden leads independents greater than 2 to 1.

Late registration pale in comparison to the edge we've had ever year since he was elected. The edge in 2018 was the reason for the blue wave. Those people didn't disappear and obviously aren't factored into new registrations.

Oct 2020

In a reversal of 2016 and a reversal of earlier in this race, Joe is now doing a point or two better in most LV polls vs RV polls.

I believe this is because of his massive swing with senior voters who are all likely voters. Trump went after Social Security, he wants to end it, Joe has been hammering him on it and that's the difference.
