I had my son at Walter Reed in 1971. I almost

gave birth by myself because the Colonel Doc went out for a three martini lunch. When he returned, the baby was crowning. I was in the hospital for 3 days and the total bill was $5.23 (the food charge).

I presume if he hadn't gotten back in time, the nurses would have delivered your child? They certainly know how in normal cases.

she had been doing this for 30 years and I was to do what she said, no questions! I am sure she could have delivered that baby.
