If I'm Kamala in tomorrow night's debate...

I’m spending the entire time hammering one thing, over and over and over again.

Trump KNEW he had COVID, and he still went out, hid it and put hundreds of lives at risk. Then he put his own secret service agents lives at risk with his little joyride publicity stunt.

1. She should talk about jobs and healthcare and education

Less on trump's failures as a human and more on his failures on policy.

People vote most on how policy affects them personally.

He wants to take away health insurance protections in a pandemic!

Hammer that.

3. She should do both since Pence was head of the failed covid taskforce.

She's a sharp cookie. This inept admin has to be hammered on covid, what with trump having it and it now being back in the national consciousness in an even bigger way.

They were trying to put out that we were rounding the corner away from it, but fate stepped in, fortuitously for us.

There's only one vice presidential debate. Talking up issues and the differences between the Democrats' approach to government (competent and done in an effort to serve all the citizens, not just the corporations and the wealthy) and the Republican approach (I got mine; fuck you) should be the bulk of her comments.

But I would like to see one, maybe two, times for Sen. Harris to recount some particularly egregious Trump action, one that flies in the face of everything Pious Mike should stand for, and ask him point-blank if he supports Trump's behavior.

4. +1. Pence is going to try to drag it into abortion and 'socialism'

and try to paint her/Biden as 'radical left'. She does have to stand up for women's rights and talk about them ramming Barrett through which risks Roe, but assure women that Dems will have to address it in legislation as Biden did at the town hall. But then immediately pivot to the failed Covid response (which Pence played a big role in), and to the GOP's blocking of the Heroes Act while at the same time the Fed juiced the stock market thus benefitting big corps and the rich. Talk about the 'k shaped recovery' that is good for the 1 percent while everyone else struggles to get by. Talk about first responders. Keep it on bread and butter issues and she will win the debate easily.

...it's the one thing, besides their next paycheck and the rest, that voters are worrying most about today.

She'll also hammer home healthcare.

6. Seems To Me She Has To Get Some Licks In On The Repugs In General....

I know Biden/Harris are running against Trump/Pence - but they also should keep the down ballot races in mind. We need to maintain the House and win the Senate.

Something needs to be said about how the Repugs in general carry the water for Trump and while Trump is dishing out tweets and distractions - they are in the background undoing everything that makes America - America.

Moscow Mitch needs to be acknowledged and how hundreds of bills passed on from the House to the Senate - sit on Mitch's desk - untouched.

It needs to be said how hard Nancy Pelosi and the House have worked since they took over the House and how so little was ever even discussed in the Senate.

The Dems need to run not only against Trump/Pence - but they need to run against the Repugs in general. We need to say good-bye to Moscow Mitch, Graham and all the other vulnerable Repugs running for the Senate.

We need to hang Trump around their necks like an albatross.

Let's use the opportunity to talk to the American people about how things will be different under Biden/Harris.
