Will he be so erratic and dangerous that even the GOPers will shut him down?

(52,517 posts)...about how he won't be able to make any money as a public speaker if he has to be dragged out of the White House, or if he starts a civil war to retaliate for losing the election. They'll then take his phone away, give it to whatever staffer writes the more-coherent tweets, and ship him to Mar-a-Lago to play golf and eat KFC for the rest of his term.

(30,613 posts)Reptilicans are too afraid of him to actually remove him. 25th Amendment is a much higher bar than impeachment. However, they will ignore him in their typical passive-aggressive way.

(24,277 posts)There will definitely be coup talk among a number of his supporters like Roger Stone. I would not be surprised if Trump supported a blatantly anti-democratic attempt to seize power.

(12,979 posts)Never in his privileged life has he experienced "no" in any forceful manner. This is why he has so many rape accusations, bankruptcies, business failures... Face it, he has been a failure his whole life, but he has never had to live up to that.
Until now.
Maybe.
GOTV! It's the only way.

(77 posts)If Trump loses on election day that is it. In January he will not be president. He will not be sworn in. He will stop getting daily briefings (even though he does not read them now). Will not have the full secret service detail he has now. He will not be the Commander-in-Chief. No more helicopter rides, no more Air Force One. If he refuses to leave the White House, Biden will still be sworn in as president. He will eventually be evicted from the premises and be convicted of crimes.
Thanks to Trump, the (Republican) party is over.
