Looking for a non-snark answer: Why would he pull the rug out on Covid relief now?

It crashed his beloved markets.

It will certainly accrue stonier poll swings toward Biden.

This one makes no sense. Had he just done nothing he would have been better off, campaign-wise. But now?

He will hurt republican voters as well as dems.

I think once Republican Senators put all the pieces together, they should realize that their voters are going to be really angry.
If tRump* wants his SCOTUS nomination, then he better play along on negotiations for COVID aid. Those vulnerable republicans will need to answer to angry constituents.

This should get interesting.

And as ALWAYS, the voters are the ones that get screwed.

An ultraconservative SCOTUS, poor or no COVID aid, and a lunatic Roid-maniacal pResident*.

Please make it stop!

He thinks if he shuts down Covid relief negotiations it makes him look tough to his supporters.

In reality it makes him look callous and out of touch.

Especially when we start calling out that the care Trump received would have bankrupt the average person. But he gets taken care of and flips the bird to everyone else.

Mitch McConnell sends senators home without passing a crucial relief bill for millions of Americans facing eviction, foreclosure, homelessness, sickness, and deaths of loved ones.
And what does the president suffering from Covid do? He turns his back on the best healthcare in the world for a joy ride, tells his doctors what to say about his health status, and goes home for a photo op and a campaign ad on the White House balcony.
Then today, he decides to halt all Covid relief negotiations and sends the stock market into a tailspin.
The day's not over yet.
What will he do tomorrow?
