Not all science is good science. I've seen lots of terrible studies, especially relating to vaccines. But having said that, it is good to see that the FDA - for once - is waiting for better proof of efficacy and possibly also safety. The coronavirus vaccine most companies are working on is a novel approach of mRNA. Caution is essential in moving forward; this type of vaccine has never been seen before and like genetic modification, the unforeseen ramifications can be terrible in their effects. We urgently need a safe and effective vaccine - and even before that we need effective treatments. Because once we have a relatively good vaccine, it will still not be 100% effective. Therefore, people will still get this disease and need therapy. We need both!
